# How to get Phork It! on iPhone, Android or the web

Phork It! is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Join the waitlist, or use the browser version at phorkit.com/app today.

Phork It! is coming soon to the App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android). It isn't in the stores yet, so the best way to hear the moment it launches is to join the waitlist. You can also use Phork It! in a web browser at [phorkit.com/app](https://phorkit.com/app).

## Join the waitlist

**1. Open phorkit.com**

Go to [phorkit.com](https://phorkit.com/) on your phone or computer.

**2. Enter your email**

Type your email in **Your email** and tap **Get early access**.

**3. You're on the list**

When you see "You're on the list.", you're in. You'll also get a personal invite link you can send to friends.

> **Note:**

There's no confirmation email. Seeing the success page means your signup went through, even if you had already joined before.

## Use Phork It! in your browser

The browser version at [phorkit.com/app](https://phorkit.com/app) has the same four tabs as the app: **Recipes**, **Plan**, **Shop** and **Settings**. It uses the same account, so your recipes, plan and shopping list are the same on your phone and in the browser.

A few things work differently in a browser:

- **You need an email account.** The browser always asks you to sign in with your email.
- **No share sheet.** To import, paste a link or text, or upload photos.
- **Timers need the page open.** A browser can pause a page in the background or when your phone locks, so cooking timers can't ring like a phone alarm. For timers that ring with your phone locked, use the mobile app.
- **Pages you've opened work offline.** Your shopping list, recipes you've opened and this week's planned recipes open without a connection, and ticks and items you add to the list are sent when you're back online. Other changes need a connection, and signing out removes the saved pages.

> **Add it to your home screen**

In the browser version, open **Settings** › **Get the mobile app** and expand **Install the browser version instead**. On iPhone or iPad you can also use the browser's **Share** › **Add to Home Screen** › **Add**. It opens in its own window, but it's still the website, separate from the iPhone and Android apps.
