On this page
Phork It! is a recipe app that turns the recipe videos you save from your feed, and recipes on any website, into clean recipes you'll actually cook. Save a recipe, put it on your week, get one shopping list, then cook it step by step.
Import, plan, shop, cook
Everything in Phork It! follows one simple loop:
- Import: share a TikTok, an Instagram Reel, a YouTube video, a Facebook post or a recipe page to Phork It!, and it writes up the recipe with ingredients, amounts and steps. You can also import from a photo, from pasted text, or write your own.
- Plan: put recipes on the days you want to cook them.
- Shop: turn your plan into one shopping list, with the same ingredient added up across recipes and sorted by aisle.
- Cook: follow the recipe one step at a time, with timers, then rate it and note how it went.
Our goal is meals cooked, not recipes saved. Most "saved" folders are a graveyard of videos nobody cooks from. Phork It! is built to get those recipes onto the table.
What does "phork" mean?
It's our verb for saving a recipe into the app. You saw a recipe in your feed, you phork it, and now it's a recipe you'll actually cook. Our slogan says it best: Saved it? Phork it.
Always credit the creator
Every imported recipe names where it came from (the creator for a video, the website for a recipe page) and links back to the original, so the credit stays with them and you can always rewatch or reread it. We keep the written recipe, never a copy of the video.
Where can I use it?
Phork It! is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. There's also a browser version at phorkit.com/app. The app's screens are in English, and your recipes stay in the language they were written in, with a one-tap translation when you need it.
