On this page
Your Recipes tab shows every recipe you've saved, newest first. Collections let you group them however you like, such as "Weeknight dinners", "Baking" or "Date night". A recipe can be in as many collections as you want.
Make a collection
Open a recipe
Tap any recipe you want in the new collection.
Choose Add to collection
Open the recipe's menu and choose Add to collection.
Tap + to create one
Type a name and tap Create.
Tap Save
The recipe is now in your new collection. Collections show in a row above All recipes on the Recipes tab.
To add a recipe to existing collections, open Add to collection again, tick or untick collections, and tap Save.
Browse and filter a collection
Each collection's cover shows its newest recipe's photo large, with the next two beside it. Tap a collection to open it. Under its name, a row of chips shows the meal types and diets in it, like "Main 6" or "Vegetarian 3". Tap a chip to show only those recipes, and tap it again to turn it off.
Rename, share or delete
Open the collection and tap its menu:
- Share sends a link to the whole collection. See the article on sharing.
- Edit (on the web, Edit name and icon) changes its name and icon.
- Delete removes the collection. Its recipes stay in Recipes.
Give a collection an icon
An icon shows before the collection's name, on the Recipes tab and wherever the collection appears.
Open Edit
Open the collection, tap its menu and choose Edit. On the web, choose Edit name and icon.
Pick a picture
Phork It! suggests pictures of food, kitchen tools and allergens that match the collection's name. Search for another one, such as "pasta" or "oven", and tap it.
Or use an emoji
If no picture fits, type one emoji under Or an emoji (on the web, Or use an emoji).
Tap Save
Choose No icon to remove it again.
